Unlocking India’s Economic Potential: How PM Modi’s Initiatives are Changing Lives

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has highlighted the significant impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives in creating diverse avenues for livelihood, beyond traditional government employment. He specifically mentions the success of schemes like MUDRA, Start-Up India, and Aroma Mission.

Dr. Singh praises the MUDRA scheme, initiated under PM Modi’s leadership, for its unique approach in disbursing loans without requiring a guarantee or collateral. He emphasizes that PM Modi’s commitment serves as the only guarantee, ensuring the scheme’s effectiveness.

An important aspect highlighted by Dr. Singh is the significant contribution of the MUDRA scheme to empowering women, with 60 to 70% of beneficiaries being women. This reflects the government’s commitment to fostering economic empowerment and inclusion among women.

Despite Jammu and Kashmir’s smaller size and population compared to other regions, it has significantly benefited from the MUDRA scheme, with approximately 25,000 beneficiaries.

Dr. Singh also mentions instances of young individuals opting for entrepreneurship through initiatives like Start-Up India, indicating the attractiveness of these programs in promoting youth-led innovation and economic growth.

Additionally, Dr. Singh emphasizes the inclusive nature of the government’s development agenda, as demonstrated by schemes like PM-SVANidhi and PM Vishwakarma, which cater to marginalized segments overlooked by previous administrations. He stresses that PM Modi’s government prioritizes inclusive development without resorting to discriminatory practices or vote bank politics.

The Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme, led by PM Modi, has garnered international recognition and resulted in substantial savings in government expenditure.

Dr. Singh reaffirms the government’s commitment to empowering various segments of society, including women, youth, farmers, and the economically disadvantaged, through initiatives like MUDRA and PMAY. These efforts aim to foster sustainable and inclusive economic development nationwide.
