Union Minister’s Surprise Visit to Fishermen Sparks Excitement! You Won’t Believe What Happened Next!

On the third day of Phase IX of Sagar Parikrama, Union Minister Parshottam Rupala visited the fish landing site at Anumanthai in Villupuram District. There, he engaged with local fishermen, self-help groups, and other members of the fishing industry. During his visit, he distributed assistance under the Prime Minister Matsya Sampada scheme and provided Kisan Credit Cards to eligible beneficiaries.

Following his visit to Anumanthai, Minister Rupala proceeded to Kalpakkam in Chengalpet District, where he interacted with fishermen. He discussed the advantages of registering under the ViswaKarma Scheme for laborers in the fishing sector.

Later in the day, Minister Rupala is scheduled to meet with members of the All India Shrimp Hatchery Association and review various government schemes related to fisheries and animal husbandry in the state. This aims to ensure effective implementation and address any existing challenges.
