Minister’s Shocking Revelation: Farmers Left Devastated! You Won’t Believe What He’s Doing to Help
Minister Jupally Krishna Rao recently toured areas affected by hailstorms in Telangana’s Kamareddy and Nizamabad Rural regions. Accompanied by government advisor Md Shabbir Ali and local leaders, he surveyed the damage and engaged with affected farmers.
In Kamareddy’s Anthampally village, Rao witnessed the devastation caused to maize and paddy crops by the hailstorms. He pledged financial aid of Rs 10,000 per acre to farmers who incurred crop losses. Additionally, he outlined a new crop insurance scheme covering all crops, with the government footing the premiums, which is anticipated to benefit over 70 lakh farmers.
Expressing discontent, Rao criticized the previous administration for its neglect of the agricultural sector, attributing it to the financial difficulties faced by Telangana. He reassured continued government support for farmers through schemes such as Rythu Bheema and the provision of free power for agriculture.
